Purim in Odessa

On February 28 Odessa Jewish community celebratet the most funny holiday of the year – PURIM. And due to this event Odessa Hillel Center accompanied with the Israeli cultural center organised beauty contest „Miss Esther”. 

The party aslo had special dress-code – everyone should be in the mask. All guests of the party could taste tradional „Amman ears”, but the main event was surely beauty contest. There were 6 girls who participated, all of them were worthy to have a title of Miss Esther. The winner should be chosen with the team of judges, who also were the sponsors of the party. 
Girls were defiling around the hall and dancing. The choice was extremely difficult, but all the girls got some titles – Miss Elegancy, Miss Coquette, Miss „People’s Choice award”, Miss Ahava, and of course – Vice-Miss and Miss Esther-2010. Vice Miss became Jane Popova, and Miss Esther – Dasha Goncharuk, both of them are Odessa Hillel students. That proves one more time that girls from Hillel are the most beautiful. The prises for them were certificates for participating Miss Odessa contest, and Dasha also got the gold prise from the main sponsor of the party – charm in the form of Magendovid.
