And again about the sports!

 Sport achievements of Odessa Hillel don’t stop to surprise us. As far as we have strong professionals in basketball – we also care about those students, who aren’t champions, but want to be them!

Specially for them we organized basketball tournament on February, 14, and called it “For us” – that was the tournament for those guys, who attend our basketball trainings each Sunday in Odessa Jewish Community center – “Beit-Grand”. 6 teams participated in the tournament; each consisted of the 4 players. The tournament was judged by the director of Odessa Basketball league – Vitaliy Radov.

Among the participators of the event also were the players of our Hillel professional team “Maritime business center” that won the prize of Arkadiy Tabachnik in Odessa. The main interesting thing was that fact, that in our tournament won not the team of professional’s, but the amateur’s team. They were awarded with the prizes from Odessa Hillel director – Pavel Vugelman.

Also we had a special prize “The best player” – it was given to our basketball coordinator –Misha Levin. By the way – he was the founder of idea to organize weekly basketball trainings – and look what development it had!!!
